ANIMA2013 will take place in the city of Córdoba, Argentina, from October 10th through 12th, 2013. This seventh edition of Argentina's most relevant animation festival will be dedicated to exploring the relationship between animation and the other arts.

The Festival is open for short and feature animation films of every genre and topic, including school productions. Participation is open for animation shorts from all over the world - produced for film, television, video or the Internet - with special interest in those from Latin America.

Along with the Festival, the III International Academic Forum on Animation will also take place. The Call for papers and posters is also open.

The Festival will also hold a series of non - competitive screenings, seminars, workshops, specialized forums, and retrospectives.

The Festival is organized by the Centro Experimental de Animación (Dept. of Film and TV, Faculty of Arts, National University of Córdoba), the Animation Chair and Animation Lab (National University of Villa María), the University of Córdoba Film Society, and the Centro Cultural España ● Córdoba (AECID).

This year's Edinburgh Short Film Festival is once again open for entries, screening the best in contemporary International short cinema alongside Scottish & UK short films in Scotland's ancient capital!

The Festival welcomes submissions from Scottish, UK and International
filmmakers. All genres will be considered.

Films must have been completed after the 1st January 2011, the maximum
duration is 20 minutes.

The deadline for applications is Friday 3rd May.

The venues for this year's event include Edinburgh's new multi-million
pound arts venue, Summerhall as well as our traditional home at the
Granary in Leith and also the stylish and opulent environs of the
Voodoo Lounge just off Princes Street.
