Gobelins Animation Summer School
The GOBELINS visual communication school in Paris is organizing for the third time an international summer school to enable students and professionals from around the world to gain a better understanding of what makes for successful character animation.
The 2008 program "Character Animation" will offer four master classes and workshop activities with instructors who teach at GOBELINS, including experienced animation professor Fred Nagorny and Kyle Balda, a 3D animator who has worked for ILM and Pixar and was the animation director for the European feature film THE DRAGON HUNTERS. The master classes will be given in English or in French with simultaneous translation in English. The course runs in Paris from June 30-July 11.
