On Friday October 3, 2008, up to 600 Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) high-school students will participate in the E for All Education Zone. At the all-new Education Zone, where participating students will obtain a deeper understanding of video games and how they can be incorporated into their future careers, speakers -- including Fatal1ty -- will describe their experience with video games and ways to break into the industry. The students will visit E for All in two groups, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. In addition to these new programs, and as previously announced, E for All will also be hosting the World Cyber Games USA 2008 National Video Game Tournament. The tournament will feature 200 of America's very best players who will compete for the rare chance to make TEAM USA and represent the United States at the WCG 2008 Grand Final, to be held in Cologne, Germany, November 5-9, 2008. The WCG's Grand Final is the culmination of the world's largest videogame tournament.

SIGGRAPH 2008, the 35th International Conference and Exhibition on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques, will be held Aug. 11-15, 2008 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California.
