Cartoons on the Bay and the Pulcinella Awards will take place in Rapallo, Santa Margherita Ligure and Portofino from April 15-18, 2010.

New aspects of the festival include a new cross-media and interactive animation categories and a free branded new business area to strengthen meetings among all the delegates.

The 8th Annual VES Awards will be held Sunday, February 28, 2010  at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.

The Visual Effects Society (VES) is a professional, honorary society, dedicated to advancing the arts, sciences, and applications of visual effects and to improving the welfare of its members by providing professional enrichment and education, fostering community, and promoting industry recognition.

These businesses provide an overview of how their companies approach and support the creative process in the Midwest. Don't miss this behind-the-scenes look into one of Chicago's premier televisions stations, wttw11, the most-watched public television station (PBS) in the country. The home of such popular shows as Check, Please!, Chicago Tonight, and Soundstage, the facility also houses WFMT, Chicago's classical music station. Members of the wttw11 staff will provide attendees with insight into the various roles and responsibilities of operating a successful, public-broadcast television or radio station. The Southwest Video Game Expo (SWGE) has announced it would be postponed due economic reasons. Li-Fi, the consumer electronic side of SWGE was cancelled previously.
