Animator Dan Mason will reveal the creative process at Pixar studios. Dan has been an animator at Pixar Animation Studios since November of 1996 and has worked on all of the feature films including A Bugs Life, Toy Story 2, Monsters Inc., Finding Nemo, The Incredibles and most recently Cars. Dan will also be available to talk about the show-stopping Toy Story Zoetrope, one of the many highlights of the Pixar: 20 Years of Animation exhibition.

Talk Animation! is a series of speaker presentations by industry insiders, ranging from visual effects experts to animation character developers, giving visitors a deeper understanding of the creativity and technology involved in all aspects of animation. The Pixar: 20 Years of Animation exhibition will also be open until 22.00 on these dates (last entry at 21.00) so visitors can enjoy the exhibition after dark.

Cartoons on the Bay is an international event with awards, workshops, lectures, TV and theatrical previews, and events centering on the ever-changing world of television animation. The Pulcinella Awards Competition is open to all products in animation for television and the Internet, including pilots of series. The Competition is also open to short films.

Works completed after the Jan. 1, 2005 and created with any kind of animation technique may participate. The various Pulcinella Awards are presented to seven competing categories including best series for infants, children, young adults & adults, all audiences, best pilot, best TV movie, best short film, as well as best European program, best program of the year and best character of the year. Loren will also be talking about his work on the jaw-dropping 21st Century Zoetrope, one of the main features of the Pixar: 20 Years of Animation exhibition.

'Pixar - 20 Years of Animation' will be opening at the Science Museum in London on April 1st 2006. The exhibition is an exclusive look at how Pixar creates their most memorable characters and stories through over 250 original artworks and memorable immersive experiences.
