Animator Dan Mason will reveal the creative process at Pixar studios. Dan has been an animator at Pixar Animation Studios since November of 1996 and has worked on all of the feature films including A Bugs Life, Toy Story 2, Monsters Inc., Finding Nemo, The Incredibles and most recently Cars. Dan will also be available to talk about the show-stopping Toy Story Zoetrope, one of the many highlights of the Pixar: 20 Years of Animation exhibition.

Talk Animation! is a series of speaker presentations by industry insiders, ranging from visual effects experts to animation character developers, giving visitors a deeper understanding of the creativity and technology involved in all aspects of animation. The Pixar: 20 Years of Animation exhibition will also be open until 22.00 on these dates (last entry at 21.00) so visitors can enjoy the exhibition after dark.

Design Festa is an international art event open to all artists from all over the world to exhibit their creative talent. Anyone who has original work can take part and express themselves through this freestyle event. There are no restrictions. Express your ideas at Design Festa for an opportunity at experimentation and the next step in your artistic lives. About 7,000 artists attended last time with more than 55,000 visitors.

2,600 booths will be set up in the event hall. This free-style exhibition is open to all mediums for exhibition, presentation and sale. There is also a dimmed lighting area for exhibiting work requiring low lighting. This space gives you the freedom to have an unprecedented style of exhibition, with multimedia work, light orientated art, performance, installation, space design and more.

Outdoor Live-show Stage:
Twenty bands will roll out performances ranging from rock to funk and jazz more.

Indoor Stage:
Fashion shows, performance, contemporary dance and more. All genres are welcome.

Mini-Theater Space:

DMC International is an international competition to promote the innovative uses of new media technologies for the digital audiovisual content and art works. · VFX-TV         : Media content produced by the integration of live-action footage and CGI, Motion Graphics or Animation.
CATEGORY II: ART + TECH COMPETITION (2 sections)
·  DIGITAL MEDIA ART : Digital media art works which utilizes a variety of advanced media technology including but not limited to interactive technology, AR, physical computing, and/or robotics.
·  MEDIA FAÇADE : Single channel and interactive content in order to be performed in various media façades in DMC area.
