CG Overdrive is an event for the artists, by the artists. CG professionals, enthusiasts, students, academics, producers and all CG stakeholders convene and connect at this annual event.  CGOverdrive2011 will be held at Suntec Singapore from 23-25 June, 2011.

The line-up of activities includes an exhibition, conference, professional tracks and networking events, as well as a host of festival activities such as recruitment zone, exhibitor workshops, film screenings, digital art gallery and concert.  To all CG enthusiasts, lets CONNECT!

SICAF (Seoul International Cartoon & Animation Festival) sets out with Animated Film Festival, Exhibition-Convention and SPP (SICAF Promotion Plan). SICAF is one of significant cartoon-animation contents market as well as remarkable festivity providing opportunities for tasting new trend of industry, exploiting trade market, finding business partners and competing creative artworks throughout its main programs. The 10th edition SICAF will be held from May 24 to 28, 2006 at SETEC (Seoul Trade Exhibition Center) for Exhibition-Convention and SPP, at COEX Megabox for Animated Film Festival. DMC International (Digital Media Content International Festival)
DMC International is an international competition to promote the innovative uses of new media technologies for the digital audiovisual content and art works. DMC International values a critical perspective on contemporary developments in media, and it focuses on the projects for future media environment, where media, art and technology intersect.

KGIT, in conjunction with Seoul City and media industries in DMC, is organizing ‘DMC International’ and hoping to establish the global community.

Digital Media City of Seoul
Located in a gateway to the northwestern region of Seoul, Digital Media City (DMC) is a state-of-the-art digital media and entertainment cluster, established by Seoul City Government. DMC, where KGIT(Korean German Institute of Technology) is located, is the high-tech complex, housing all of the major broadcasting companies, film industries, entertainment businesses, leading IT companies and Telco.

CATEGORY I: NEW-TV COMPETITION (4 sections)
· YOU-TV        : Media Content produced with Mobile Devices, DSLRs, or other personal devices
· I-TV             : Media Content produced for Smart TV and IPTV
· 3D-TV          : 3D stereoscopic videos
· VFX-TV         : Media content produced by the integration of live-action footage and CGI, Motion Graphics or Animation.
CATEGORY II: ART + TECH COMPETITION (2 sections)
·  DIGITAL MEDIA ART : Digital media art works which utilizes a variety of advanced media technology including but not limited to interactive technology, AR, physical computing, and/or robotics.
·  MEDIA FAÇADE : Single channel and interactive content in order to be performed in various media façades in DMC area.      

AWARDS  - THE INTERNATIONAL JURY GIVES OVER THE FOLLOWING AWARDS IN COMPETITION
· Best Award in each category accompanied with cash prize of $2,000 USD

DASA proudly announces "Diploma in Digital Animation & Multimedia". The program is a Full Time, 2 months course, leading to a Diploma, Certification from Softimage-Canada and a Studio Workshop involving Motion Builder.

This special media event puts the spotlight on the soundtrack. First held in 1998, it has featured creatives working at the highest levels of media and the arts including Walter Murch, Ren Klyce, Lynne Ramsay, Graham Hartstone, Christina Kubisch, Ken Loach, Carter Burwell, Tom Holman, Lucrecia Martel, Gabriel Yared, Richard Leacock, the Brothers Quay, Manfred Eicher and many others. This year's program features director Mike Figgis, multi-talented composer and dj Nitin Sawhney, documentary directors Kim Longinotto, Gideon Koppel and Michael Grigsby, and US avant garde filmmaker Phil Solomon. Three gifted sound designers -- Pat Jackson, Steve Munro and Daniel Deshays -- will explore film sound design in detail. They will be joined by sound artists Akio Suzuki - speaking with composer and writer David Toop - and Hildegard Westerkamp; neurologists Tim Griffiths and Lauren Stewart in discussion with Peter Howell (member of the former BBC Radiophonic Workshop), radio producer Piers Plowright and film educators Roger Crittenden and Stephen Deutsch. Peter Strickland will reflect on the production of the soundtrack for his first feature, KATALIN VARGA, whose sound team won "Outstanding Artistic Contribution for Sound Design" at the Berlin Film Festival. And Chris Petit, director of RADIO ON and a speaker at the 2005 SOS, will close out the event with a personal perspective on the use of song and music with image. This is a special opportunity to tune yourself in to how soundtracks are created and, more importantly, how they affect your audience. The SOS has gained a worldwide reputation by raising the profile of creative screen sound production. It now attracts an international audience of leading sound and music practitioners from over twenty-five countries who are drawn to its distinctive program revealing the soundtrack from unexpected perspectives.
