This year's show will be held in the fall (late October, early November) and tour four major cities in three states (Boston, New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles). Our goal is to put on a good, entertaining show, so help us out. For the past four years our festival has grown and grown. Now we are bringing it to four big cities, and many hundreds of pairs of eyes. Go to our site (http://www.fafcom.com), download an entry form, and/or drop us a line. We will look at Flash, quicktime, mini-dv, prodv, vhs, dvd, vcd, anything. The only hitch, it has to be in a DV format that we can edit together later (you can supply this when/if your short is chosen for this year's show). FAF is looking for the fun and the strange. Fill our mailboxes with your submissions. The early deadline is the end of JULY, no fee attached. The Late Deadline is the end of August 2003 with a $20 late entry fee (check or money order).

It is no secret the great cartoons of yesteryear are now ruined. Many are banned. Reg Hartt offers a unique chance to see them as their creators meant us to. This is Bugs Bunny with balls. Programs are introduced by Hartt. Here is what some have to say: John Kricfalusi: "I hope Reg continues to inspire young artists." Emo Philips: "Reg is the greateast teacher I know." Chuck Jones: "Reg's love for animation is proven by his work preserving and presenting our films as we made them." Programs 7:00 pm Saturday & Sunday thru September. A damn good reason to visit Toronto. Be there.
