Fanime Con is Northern Califoria's largest anime convention and this year will mark it's 10-year anniversary. A unique, interactive, intensive 2-day advanced character development workshop conducted as part of the Psychomechanics European Training Tour. This seminar dynamically introduces participants to the pre-production and production processes which, in derivative applications, have been utilized in the most internationally successful animated U.S. films of the past 5 years.

This year's show will be held in the fall (late October, early November) and tour four major cities in three states (Boston, New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles). Our goal is to put on a good, entertaining show, so help us out. For the past four years our festival has grown and grown. Now we are bringing it to four big cities, and many hundreds of pairs of eyes. Go to our site (http://www.fafcom.com), download an entry form, and/or drop us a line. We will look at Flash, quicktime, mini-dv, prodv, vhs, dvd, vcd, anything. The only hitch, it has to be in a DV format that we can edit together later (you can supply this when/if your short is chosen for this year's show). FAF is looking for the fun and the strange.
