An Evening of Diversions - Featuring intriguing amusements inspired by the Devices of Wonder exhibition, An Evening of Diversions invites audiences to step back in time 100 years, when the new century offered mind-boggling technological advancements. The 3rd European Gathering of Young Digital Creation is focused on digital art from animation to special effects. Some of the themes of this year's event will be animation and special effects in feature films, sound in cinema and multimedia and royalties. The festival includes training symposiums, screenings and discussions. Guest speakers will include Raoul Servais, creator of KIRIKOU Michel Ocelot and co-director of Axis, Chris Delaporte.

Future Film Festival is a major Italian event dedicated to animation & special effects. The festival offers extensive retrospectives of international animation, premieres of major animation & special effects films, new television series and experimental shorts.
In 2001, over 22,000 people attended the Future Film Festival, including 300 journalists and 400 accredited professionals and academics.

The Knitting Factory in Hollywood presents The Knitting Independent Film Series.


The Knitting Factory -- home of great jazz, alternative and world music -- presents a bi-weekly film series to showcase independent filmmakers from around the world.

Located on Hollywood Blvd., the Knitting Factory is one block from the red carpet of the Kodak Theater and the Academy Awards ceremony.

Local filmmakers now have a state of the art facility to showcase and maintain a visible consortium of artists in the heart of the motion picture world.
The series is open to filmmakers anywhere in the world; residents can hold private screenings for friends and industry members.

The process is easy for filmmakers to present their short or full length film or video.
