TERRES EN VUES/LAND InSIGHTS, an association created to promote native culture, is presenting the 11th Edition of the Montreal First Peoples' Festival. The event highlights films made by American natives and about native issues and topics. Selected films and videos will be in competition, unless the filmmaker wishes them to be screened only. It has developed out of a special programme of the International ShortFilmFestival Hamburg. In 1999 it became an independent festival and has grown ever since. Besides children it attracts also a professional international audience. The festival program addresses kids and teens between 4 and 14 years.
