MITV - International TV Market is the first independent international market for TV productions in Latin America. The event is a place where people who produce, distribute or exhibit series, documentaries, animations or motion pictures can connect. The event comprises two days of meetings where TV stations, cable channels, independent producers, distributors, government and international guests will be able to meet and exchange ideas, watch finished programs and ongoing projects, and discuss the issues that are moving local and global markets.

Production companies with completed or in-progress projects can present them at MITV Screenings, a special show for buyers, and producers. Producers, distributors and broadcasters can attend pitching sessions of an unusual kind, with the participation of producers who do not normally have access to top-tier international markets. The well-known and popular Brazil Programming & Production Forum, to be held this year in parallel with MITV. Attendees will have access to first-class presentations and debates in the company of highly qualified professionals from Brazil, the U.S., Canada, France, Sweden, Spain, Portugal and elsewhere. The FIAERio 2006: International Festival of Erotic Animation will screen old and new films dealing with theme of eroticism.
