Declared of Cultural Interest by the Honorary Deputies Chamber of the Nation, Nueva Mirada Film Festival is a member of CIFEJ (International Centre of Film for Children and Youth) and co-produced by INCAA (National Film Institute for the Arts and Sciences). Among the institutional sponsors are the UNESCO, the OEI (Organization of Iberian American States), the INTAL (Institute of Latin American Television) the Government of the City of Buenos Aires, the Secretary of Culture of the Nation, the Cultural Institute of the Province of Buenos Aires.

ANIMA'09 will take place in the city of Cordoba, Argentina, from October 8 through 10, 2009. The festival is organized by the Centro Experimental de Animacion and the Secretaria de Extension Universitaria, National University of Cordoba. This fifth edition of the ANIMA will be dedicated to exploring the concept of Identity Traits. Therefore, we open the following:

Córdoba International Animation Festival - ANIMA, is both an academic and cultural event, devoted specifically to animation in its artistic and technological dimensions. ANIMA merges the energy, enthusiasm and joy of an Animation Festival with the scientific aspects of a Conference. Held every odd year since 2001, ANIMA is the main animation event in Argentina and a very influential player in its field in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Exhibit 04 School of Multimedia Systems

The School of Multimedia Systems (Faculty of Information Technology) will be showcasing final 3rd year work of the Bachelor of Multimedia Systems in an Exhibition that will be held in the Atrium and the Edge at Federation Square Melbourne.

The dates of the Exhibition are the 22nd and 23rd of November 2004. It will be held between the hours of 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and is open to the public.

SPAA Pitching Competition

AFTRS is staging preliminary pitching workshops across Australia. From those selected at these workshops finalist will be chosen to pitch at the featured SPAA Pitching Competition at the annual SPAA Conference (Nov. 14-17, 2006). Participation in these workshops is the only path to this opportunity. The Competition provides an opportunity for a feature film or television program "idea" to be pitched to a captive audience of the industry's top film, television and new media executives.
