Orlando ACM SIGGRAPH is pleased to present the second annual Eureka! Computer Animation Film Festival. This year's event will be held at the Enzian Theater on Sunday, July 27, 2008. Our inaugural event was a huge success, receiving enthusiastic responses from everyone involved. Entries came from all over the state of Florida and even internationally to have a place in our budding festival. The support of local industry was key in making it a great event; providing entries, donations, prizes and volunteers. As a not-for-profit organization we rely on our community's patronage to continue and grow our endeavor to bring attention to so many talented artists. Orlando SIGGRAPH thanks all those who participated and everyone who attended the event -- we owe our success to you. Now it's time to do it again, and our goal is to make this year's Eureka! event bigger and better. This is an opportunity for the community to showcase the growing talent and prestige of the entire computer graphics industry. It is an opportunity for students and professionals, locally and worldwide, to gain deserved attention for their hard work, dedication and passion. It is a chance for artists to be recognized and a chance for the community and the country to recognize that central Florida is a leader in the industry. We invite and encourage everyone to participate in this year's Eureka! competition. With the support of the community and the industry, we can build this forum to promote the success of individuals, corporations and the community at large.
