Proudly Presents

The Second Puppet Short Film and Video Festival.

What do fiddle-playing demons, the president of the United States, and a squirrel with genital herpes have in common? The Puppet Short Film and Video Festival! Our underdog puppet protagonists win again and again in this festive journey through the art of puppetry for the screen as a pubescent girl saves the world, Fleece People try to right the injustices of "The Eddie Bauer Massacre," Satan loses a bet, a squirrel emerges triumphant from an ugly breakup, and a coyote and his cornbread buddy discover that friendship is more important than money.

The Puppet Short Film and Video Festival has it all at the beautiful, new Platinum Live cabaret and supper club. The majority of this material is not conventionally available and many films and videos feature terrific work by local puppeteers and filmmakers, as well films from Japan, New York, and Milwaukee.
The evening includes recipients of the Telly Award, the Videographer Award of Excellence, and a Sundance "Best Short" winner. Some of the artists will be on hand for this extraordinary event.
Some material may NOT be suitable for children.

Sunday, May 19, 7:30 p.m. Admission is FREE.
