The 3D Conference provides four days of in-depth classes focused on the art and technology of 3D. It addresses the needs of professionals using 3D technology in a wide variety of contexts, including entertainment, architecture, engineering, science, medicine, and legal affairs. More than 70 intermediate to advanced classes provide training and instruction in 3D tools and techniques used in animation, modeling, rendering, visual effects, industrial visualization, web design, broadcast and film design, and digital video. The event attracts over 3,000 graphics professionals to its conference program and product exhibition. NPAR 2000 is the first international symposium dedicated to non-photorealistic animation and rendering, including cartoon animation systems and techniques. Held in conjunction with the Annecy International Animated Film Festival, SIGGRAPH and Eurographics, the symposium will bring together researchers and practitioners from academia and the industry. It will showcase cutting-edge research in non-photorealistic animation and rendering systems and techniques, and present examples of their application in original computer-animated films. First annual Zoomgo Film Fest 2000 is celebrating creativity, talent and achievement through the use of streaming media and the Internet. The festival will showcase works from around the world ranging from animations to shorts. There will be 100 films/animations selected and posted on the festival site where a panel of professionals from the Independent Film/Animation Industry will judge the top 10 voted films. The Clio Awards honor advertising excellence worldwide. They welcome entries from professionals and students interested in advertising arts. All Print and Poster entries must have appeared in newspapers or magazines, or be posted on billboards or public sites. All TV & Radio entries must have been broadcast or appeared in movie theaters. Anima Mundi Web is Brazil's international animation Web competition. The event is open to all countries and work must be in Flash and gif formats. The festival will pre-select 20 animations and an international jury will vote for the winners. The international jury will consist of the people that have registered on the Anima Mundi Festival Web site.
