A Special Note: This year we will be awarding two (2) LOW NET Trophies. One will be given to the low net winner (based on the Callaway System of scoring which we have used since this event began more than 45 years ago.) This award is designed to give golfers who play only a few times a year and, who do not have an established SCGA handicap index, a chance to compete fairly. The second LOW NET trophy is designed to be awarded to the person who does have an established SCGA or Publinx handicap. The committee felt it would be unfair to have golfers, who might play only once or twice a year, compete with golfers who play every week. So, to make everything fair...this was the logical solution. This way, everyone has a chance to win at his or her own skill level.
