ISEA2000, 10th International Symposium on Electronic Art, is organized by ART3000 in collaboration with ISEA, The Inter-Society for the Electronic Arts. The symposium is an annual event that finds a new home each year. ISEA2000 is an international event targeted at the artistic community involved with new media. With "Revelation" as its theme, ISEA2000 will focus on new means of representation and will explore the effects of the technological revolution on art and society -- digital images, virtual realities, multimedia, interactive installations, networks, etc. The event will have an international symposium composed of papers and panel sessions, poster sessions, workshops and institutional presentations and a program of exhibitions, concerts, performances, an electronic theater and "street scenes" (outdoor activities). Supporting the event is the Ministry of Culture and Communication (DDAT, DAP, DAI, CNC, DMDTS), in partnership with the Forum des Images, CICV Pierre Schaeffer, Canadian Cultural Center, ACROE and the General Quebec Delegation.

Inner-City Arts' Annual Gala Fundraising Dinner is a star-studded event to support the works of the inner city arts program. The VIP reception starts at 5 pm with a dinner beginning at 7 pm. The evening's festivities will include a silent auction including animation art and collectibles donated by industry celebs. Inner-City Arts was founded in 1989 to help teach arts, such as animation, after public schools started cutting back on art education.

Animation Dream VI Exhibit is a showcase of the best work from the students at the School of Visual Arts. The event will contain models, storyboards, cels, background drawings and murals. A reel of award-winning work from recent graduates will also be screened. The exhibit is being curated by animation artists Don Duga, Howard Beckerman and Irra Verbitsky.

ANIMAC: the International Annual Spanish Animation Show is devoted to promoting the art of animation. The five-year-old event is a joint venture between the School of Fine Arts of Lleida and the Lleida Culture Department. ANIMAC 2001 wants to celebrate the capability of animation to mix with many other artistic disciplines such as music, painting, photography, performances, digital arts, graphic design and others. The event includes film and video screenings, retrospectives and theme screenings. Besides the films screened on the big screen, visitors will have the chance to view all the films entered in the festival in private screening booths. This year's graphic image of ANIMAC has been created by award winning illustrator and animator Carles Porta.
