About the Streaming Festival
Films do not play in cinemas. They are streamed online full screen with high image quality.
Just like at a regular film festival, visitors can choose from several programs. However, unlike at a regular film festival, they are able to switch easily between viewing locations.

The American Cinematheque

These monthly 4-hour Workshops are only $25 per class. Each class will teach you everything you need to build a great foundation in film and video production. You'll learn everything from basic script writing to nonlinear editing, distribution, and more. The University of Oklahoma College of Arts & Sciences is hosting biennial $40,000 Creativity in Motion/Thatcher Hoffman Smith Prize honoring the creative process. This prize was established in 2002 to recognize and encourage the process of creativity as it unfolds and is expressed by individuals in diverse ways.

The 10th Annual California Independent Film Festival will take place in Northern California's Livermore Valley Wine Country. For the 10th year, TV France International is organizing Le Rendez-Vous 2004, French TV Screenings. The event sees 160 acquisition executives representing 100 channels and 40 countries. Producers, distributors and broadcasters from 40 French companies, all members of TVFI, will be at the Rendez-Vous to present their latest productions. The program catalogue will list more than 700 French programs, over 60% of which are new. This year around all programs will be digitalized and available for consultation on a server. The 11th Annual Austin Film Festival celebrates narrative and documentary films both in long and short form. The conference that accompanies the festival features panelists from the film industry who will discuss their experiences. First place winners receive: a cash prize of $1,000 (Feature Category) or $500 (Short and Student Short Categories); reimbursement (up to $500) of one round-trip airfare to Austin to attend the 2005 AFF; hotel accommodations at an AFF hotel (up to $500); a special Winners Night Screening at the Festival; the AFF Bronze Typewriter Award; and a special Los Angeles screening of their film for industry professionals. The 11th Annual Slamdance Film Festival highlights the best in short and feature independent films. The 2004 festival received more than 2,600 submissions from all over the world. Selection is narrowed to under 20 features for both the main feature competition, which is strictly devoted to films without domestic theatrical distribution, from first-time feature directors, working with relatively low budgets, and the documentary competition. The early deadline is August 27, 2004. The final deadline for short films under 40 minutes is October 11, 2004 and October 18, 2004 for feature films.
