The AEAF Awards finalists and winners will be shown at a screening event on 17 July 2012.
A panel of judges will select the top ten entries in each category for screening, and the top scoring entry from each will be named category winner and receive the award.

Entrants to the AEAF Awards have the opportunity to show their projects in the AEAF Online Festival.

The 13th Annual San Diego Asian Film Festival 2012 will once again be showcasing animated short films produced by animators of Asian ethnicities in a 90-minute all-animation program. All forms of animation (traditional, claymation, stop-motion, flash, CGI, etc) will be accepted for consideration into this competitive festival. Films by all animators (of all ethnicities) pertaining to Asian issues and themes will also be considered. Please submit DVD screeners for consideration. If selected, all films will be screened in glorious HD 1080p format. A Best Animated Short Film Award will be awarded with prizes to be determined.The year 2012 will be SDAFF's 13th year of celebrating the best in Asian Cinema in sunny San Diego. Last year, SDAFF screened over 150 films in 8 days with many industry celebrities in attendance. The all-animation program was a resounding success with 2 sold out shows due to popular demand. David Chai's "Enrique Wrecks The World" took the Best Animated Short Award. Help make SDAFF a success again by submitting your animation and spreading the word to your friends and associates who may also be interested. There are only 6 weeks left to submit to the 18th Encounters Short Film and Animation Festival (18 – 23 September).

 

Enter your short film or animation by Wednesday 6th June, for a chance to win a prestigious award and to showcase your talent on an international stage.

 

Short films and animations are eligible from all over the world, completed from 1 Jan 2011, under 30 minutes in length from every genre. There are discounts for multiple submissions (please contact rich.warren@encounters-festival.org.uk

TAAFI “CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS”


Toronto, January 17, 2012 –The Toronto Animation Arts Festival International (TAAFI) has opened up its submission process for animated films for their inaugural event to take place June 22 – 24th, 2012 at the Tiff Bell Lightbox.

TAAFI is excited to receive submissions to the festival and there are several categories that you can enter.  Submission is FREE before February 29th 2012 and submissions close April 15th 2012.  Chosen by a committee of experts, selected films will be eligible for: Audience Choice, Grand Prix, and Best of Fest Grand Prix.  Besides films, Animated Commercials, Game Cinematics, and Motion Graphics are all welcome and encouraged.

TAAFI is accepting both International and local Shorts (22 minutes or less) and Features (60 Minutes or Longer) of all genres and techniques! If it is animated we would like to see it!

"Multimatograf” is a non-commercial festival and we invite creators from everywhere to share a message with the world using multimedia technologies.

The organizing committee accepts the works in absolutely different genres. We don’t pay much attention to the technical parameters of the work (of course, it must be at least not irritating to watch:). What we want to see (and have seen a lot and hope to see even more) is the idea, creative approach, deep message! So if you got something interesting and want your work to find its viewers – welcome to the festival! It doesn’t matter how weird or insane your work can be, it always has its audience. That’s our principle.
