Super Animation on the Super Screen

Join us for two months of animated extravaganza on the Northbridge Piazza Super Screen in Perth, WA!

Every Thursday night, 8:30 – 9:30pm, Animator’s Hour will promote local Perth animators and their superb work through a set of 8 free screenings. We will also be showcasing other animated works from Australia and the World, and the amazing talents, skills and imagination of around 100 artists.

Get involved and win one of three $500 cash prizes, a Wacom tablet and other goodies, by helping us to create a brand new animation entitled Bunny Cakes. All the crazy, quirky and awesome ideas submitted will find their way to the final piece and be pulled together and crafted by a team of savvy animators.

Even if you are not an animator or artist, you can enter the competition by drafting a script or by sketching your ideas for the animated film. Everyone is welcomed to join in the fun!

Starting from 23rd February, we’ll help to spark your imagination with our short films and give you a taste of the competition submissions thus far, which will give you opportunities to build on what has already been submitted or to take Bunny Cakes in quite different directions.

So come to the city, grab a bean bag and join in the completely free Animator’s Hour screenings.
