The 2007 Taiwan Internation Animation Festival accepts animated film, all lenghths, all genre. It is a non-competitive for International Showcase. There is also a compitition with cash prizes for Taiwan Animation Showcase.

The 2007 TIAF will take place in Taipei city from September 28th to October 7th, 2007.

The Taiwan International Animation Festival (TIAF) is organized by The Chinese Taipei Film Archive (CTFA), a non-profit foundation which is annually sponsored by the Government Information Office. The Archive is devoted to collect, restore and preserve moving image heritage of Taiwan and to assist the development of film industry in Taiwan. Since 1995, the Archive joined the International Federation of Film Archives, and cooperated with many FIAF members in exchanging film information and culture.

2008 Architectural 3D Awards

Following up on last year's huge success, CGarchitect.com is hosting the 5th annual Architectural 3D Awards to be awarded at this year's Mundos Digitales Conference in La Coruna, Spain. The Awards Competition is open to everyone in the Architectural Visualization industry to highlight the best imagery and animations done in 2007 and 2008. In its eighth year, the DIY Convention is taking a different turn by offering participants the chance to meet with people who actually know what it's like to take a project to the next level. Focusing this year mostly on the best of British comics around, the Bristol International Comic Expo returns at the Ramada Plaza Hotel on May 9-10, 2009, with a special one day extra event -- Small Press Expo 2009 at the nearby Mercure Holland House Hotel.
