SUBJECT 5 CON 

Is a Los Angeles Area convention showcasing Artists, Comic books, and top names in the Anime, Horror, and Comic book worlds. There will be panels, entertainment, food provided by sponsors included in the ticket price, and artists selling and showcasing there work.

This year the focus is ANIME. We have some of the top Anime and VO artists as guests who will be speakers on a panel, and signing autographs.

 

Our guests of honor are top V.O actos

RICHARD EPCAR (Robotech, Batou in Ghost in the Shell, Legend of Korra, etc).

JB BLANC (Beware the Batman, Bleach,etc)

The event will also feature top comic book artists working for Marvel, DC Comics, and others.

Hey All,

I wanted to share an event with you taking place in March of 2013. The Citrus Cel Animation Film Festival is running a competition called JUICED! This is a 24hr animation competition where teams are given a few texture assets and a theme, and they are given the task of creating an animated short in a mere 24hrs.

This is our second installment of JUICED!, and we would love to get some of you talented animators from the 11 second club to participate. You do not have to be present at the festival to participate and all animation can be done remotely, and submitted to the competitions sponsored YouSendit drop box.

Launched last year, DOCartoon is ‘the first festival in the world to be primarily dedicated to animated documentaries and non-fiction comics’. A mix of short and feature-length animadoc films, meetings and exhibitions takes place in the old Tuscan town of .Pietrasanta, between seaside and mountains, where Michelangelo would stop after choosing the marble blocks who would work on. No competition, no awards but a good selection of quality feature and short animated documentary films, encounters with artists, events and art exhibitions in the best locations in town.
