WIA International's Annual Meeting: "Women Creating Women"
This year's WIA International Annual Meeting will be a celebrate of Women in Animation's tenth anniversary. WIA will be screening Disney's Oscar-nominated short DESTINO with producer Baker Bloodworth on hand to talk about the 50-years-in-the-making collaboration between Disney and Dali. The event will also present "Women Creating Women," a panel of distinguished artists, producers, directors and mentors. Panelists will include Stephanie Graziano, Marge Dean, Lorna Cook, Christine Panushka, Linda Miller and (we hope) The One and Only June Foray.
The meeting will take place at the Art Institute of Los Angeles, 2900 31st Street (at Ocean Park). Reception and networking will start at 6:30 pm will the event following at 7:00 pm.
