LA SIGGRAPH Small Screen Visual Effects

Los Angeles production houses Blur, Entity, Stargate Digital, and Zoic will discuss their pipelines for working within budget and time constraints of episodic television and commercials to produce feature film quality visual effects. DAY / DATE / TIME: Tuesday, October 9, 2007 ? 6:30 P.M. - 9:30 P.M. PROGRAM: 6:30 P.M. - 7:30 P.M. - Social Hour & Hors d'oeuvres. (Social Hour will outside) Food and Water will be provided at no charge. Barnsdall will run a Cash Bar, with Beer, Wine and Soft Drinks. 7:30 ? 9:30 P.M. Program Presentation. PRESENTERS: Tom Dillon, Pipeline Manager and Eric Hulser, Tools Developer, Blur Mat Beck, VFX Supervisor, Director, Owner and David Alexander, CGI Artist, Entity FX Stargate Digital presenters tbd Andrew Orloff, Visual Effects Supervisor, Zoic ADMITTANCE: 6:30 P.M. - Priority admittance for Members only. 7:00 P.M. - Doors open to the public. FEE/ REGISTRATION: The event is FREE to LA ACM SIGGRAPH members, and $15 for non-members. New Members who sign up on-site, and pay the $35 annual membership fee (checks or cash only), do not have to pay the $15 fee. The Membership Fee will increase to $ 40.00, effective January 1, 2008.
