Posted In | Event Category: Comics | Event Type: Exhibits | Site Categories: Art, Events, Illustration, Writing

Why a Comic Convention?

Because of our love of comics! The straight forwardness of the illustrated medium, the way it is approachable to almost anyone. The many different styles and techniques there are to this art form, and the fact that it takes the reader experience to a whole new level, be it fantasy or even non-fiction.

Most importantly, in order to achieve a lot many of our goals of promoting comic books and graphic art. We have dedicated PR & Media Teams for the event. They will be putting together a tremendous effort for the widest possible coverage in all mediums for this event. This will also help participating brands, publishers, artists and writers to be showcased nationally and internationally.

We are dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the comic and graphic art medium. As well as supporting artists, illustrators and writers in the medium.

The Indian Comic Con is an initiative of Twenty Onwards Media. We are a startup media house involved in Print, Music and Television. We are alternative and niche, with a focus on content and content based solutions for the entertainment of the younger demographic in India.

Some of our previous initiatives include RANDOM, India's longest running humor digest and The Golden Kela Awards, celebrating the worst in Indian cinema.

Note: There are many "Comic Cons" held around the world and we are NOT affiliated to any of them.  Please refer to this Link to understand the common usage of the term "Comic Con".
