Rushes Soho Shorts Showcase hits Copenhagen
Rushes Soho Shorts, Bornshorts and the Danish newspaper POLITIKEN have teamed up to bring Copenhagen a night full of short films, animations and music videos. The event to be held on March 12, 2009 will showcase work from Bornshorts and the Rushes Soho Shorts 2008 program. Films include: STAND UP directed by Joseph Pierce (National Film and Television School) THE CONTROL MASTER directed by Run Wrake (Sclah Films) BITCH directed by Dom Bridges (Mustard) THE RED SUITCASE directed by Saul Freed (Black Watch Productions) THE WEATHERMAN directed by Will Becher (Seven Animation) GOLDFRAPP: A&E directed by Dougal Wilson (Blink Productions) THE BEES: WHO CARES WHAT THE QUESTION IS? directed by Chris Hopewell (Collision Films) CONDIMENTIA directed by Morgan Hutchins (The Mob Film Company) SOULJAH directed by Rikki Beadle-Blair (Team Angelica) THE GRAVITY OF BELIEF directed by Martin Gooch (MGTV) THIS IS JO3 directed by Rory Rowe (Once We Were Farmers) LOVE DOES GROW ON TREES directed by Bevan Walsh (Keel Films) Host for the evening is Danish film critic Kim Skotte who'll be chairing a Q&A in between the program of films with Danish guest directors Peder Pedersen (commercials director who just finished his 28min short film THE WHITE GOLD) and Dorte Hogh (her first short film THE PIG was nominated at this year's Oscars) commenting on the ever changing production landscape.
