The theme of the evening, THE BLACK AND BLUE OF SENTI focuses on two distinct personas and styles of the artist. "The Black" showcases Bernal's works on paper and limited editions of "Skelanimals" , creatures who are both macabre and whimsical, (and the plush versions of which have become the all-time best seller for national retailer Hot Topic!). "The Blue" side focuses on Bernal's work as Senti, featuring drawings, paintings, and prints of seductive women in fun, if not funny surroundings. Mitchell "Senti" Bernal spent over 15 years working for Walt Disney Feature Animation, Walt Disney Imagineering, and Walt Disney Television. His significant contributions include concept art for Beauty & the Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King, Lilo & Stitch, and Fantasia 2000.
