The 5th Biennial Tehran International Animation Festival (TIAF) is a competitive event that celebrates animation as the seventh artform. The festival serves as an opportunity to screen the best animations from all over the world and create a bridge between different cultures. The event is sponsored by the Intellectual Development of Children & Young Adults (KANOON). The main idea of this festival is to broaden the ties between domestic and international artists and to promote the importance of animation industry and also the development of cultural interchanges among artists. As part of the event there will be different international competitions, which include Short Animations, TV Series, Advertisements & Educational Animations and also some special screenings.
