Animae Caribe 2005

Animae Caribe is an annual animation and new media festival. It features filmmakers from the Caribbean and the Diaspora. Though its emphasis is animation, the festival promotes experimental film production also. The aims of the festival are to provide a global stage for animators and filmmakers of the region; and provide a learning environment for artists to improve their craft.

Anime Caribe 2005 will provide young persons in the Caribbean and the Diaspora with the opportunity to experience the creativity, innovation and development of the animation, film and new media industry. The events special features include celebrity guests, presenters from the U.K., Europe, U.S. and the Caribbean, gala award ceremony, animation shorts and cinema screenings, workshops and seminars, children
