Konami have announced that they will produce a full line-up of ESPN sports
titles for video game consoles and personal computers. The multi-platform
sports brand will combine the full power of ESPN, a leading provider of

Macromedia Inc., and Stan Lee, Inc. have teamed up to bring Stan Lee's
first episodic Web animation series to life. Stan Lee, the genius behind
classic comic characters like Spider-Man, the X-Men, and the Incredible
Hulk, will create his new 5-minute "Web-isodes" using Macromedia Flash
technology. According to Lee this new venture will allow the whole world to
be part of his new creations without limitations. This exclusive deal
includes Macromedia, Inc.'s $5 million purchase of Stan Lee Media Inc.

Comic called GEORGE LIQUOR'S FISHING SHOW, based on comics first seen in

Viacom's MTV Networks Online has announced the formation of Nickelodeon
Online, a new Internet-only company that combines several already existing
Nickelodeon Web sites, as well as some new sites. Leading the new company
is Nickelodeon veteran Taran Swan, who has been named senior-vice president

Burlington, Massachusetts-based NewKidCo International Inc., a children's
game publisher, and Disney Interactive have entered into a multi-year
agreement to develop and publish console video games featuring popular
Disney properties. Through the deal, NewKidCo has obtained the rights to

Lucas Learning releases STAR WARS: PIT DROIDS

ONE-based puzzle game. Players must direct an endless row of pit droids

A Disney Infoseek executive has been arrested

According to Reuters, Patrick Naughton, 34, of Seattle, Washington,
executive vice president of products at Infoseek Corp., the Internet media
site which is part of Disney's Go Network, was arrested on Thursday,
September 16, 1999 on the Santa Monica Pier, an amusement park area in West
Los Angeles. The arrest came after he met a female FBI agent who had
arranged to meet him there, according to Thom Mrozek, a spokesman for the
