The new Starz Entertainment brand campaign focuses on the premium television network's Starz-branded channels and advanced services.

PlayStation Makes A Cameo In New Wyclef Video

PlayStation 3, PSP and hit game title, BURNOUT PARADISE have been integrated into FAST CAR, the new music video from Grammy-winning Sony BMG artist Wyclef Jean.

BURNOUT is from Criterion Games, an Electronic Arts studio.

In this unique integration, Jean and the video's other characters utilize the PlayStation platforms to drive the video's storyline, as they interact in a surreal world brought to life with footage from BURNOUT PARADISE. The video will be available for download on PlayStation Store beginning on March 27 for a limited time.

This Summer, Mountain Dew's Not Just A Soda

Pepsi-Cola North America announced today they will create a serialized action-adventure online series about Mountain Dew this summer, THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER reports.

Film writer-directors Shawn Papazian and Art Brown will create the branded entertainment for Pepsi -- who is serving as its own studio -- to air sometime in June on Web sites that have yet to be determined.

Similar to the CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE book series, the Pepsi project will allow users to interact and change the story lines to suit their preference.

DUCK 'Edvests' With Wells Fargo Spot

Independent animation studio DUCK recently completely a new commercial for Wells Fargo titled, EDVEST.

Directed by Maureen Selwood and produced by Mark Medernach, the commercial supports Wells Fargo's campaign promoting investing and saving for education.

The thirty-second spot airs in major markets across the Southwest US and was made for DDB/LA.

"The core of the commercial's message is about being financially prepared for the expenses of sending a child to college," said Roger Chouinard, President and Co-Founder of DUCK.

When Young & Rubicam's John Kyriakou challenged The Juggernaut's Craig Small to develop an updated end tag mnemonic for Advil Liqui-Gels, the project initially seemed straightforward.

The current Advil Liqui-Gel pour shot -- the familiar stream of liquid filling the Advil capsule -- had been around for some years and had been very effective in visually demonstrating the liquid-fast benefit of the product.

But Advil as a brand developed rapidly to become the top pain reliever in Canada andY & R needed an updated visual metaphor.

John Budion of Click 3X directed a spec spot for Coca-Cola where empty cans and bottles of the delicious beverage that were previously strewn about the city join together in a parade of pride.

The soda vessels traverse the landscape of the city as they travel through the subways and streets to collect in a tree above a sleeping transient. The aluminum and glass containers lovingly spell out the greeting "Happy Holidays" for the entire world to see.

Bicoastal 89 Edit's Chris Davis cut the 'rapalicious' music vid for Missy Elliott, a combination of Elliott's songs CHING-A-LING and SHAKE YOUR POMP POM.

In keeping with her usual flare, Missy is surrounded by hip-hop dancers that twist and curl with the latest moves. Trippy graphics and otherworldly scenery envelops the rap superstar as she works the room with her tasty rhymes.

HIV-Prevention Animated Shorts Off To Asia

The Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) will now distribute THE THREE AMIGOS, a series of 20 animated Public Service Announcements designed to stop the spread of HIV and AIDS, throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

The ABU will distribute the series in multiple languages under its Media Awareness Exchange (MAE) banner to more than 120 broadcasters in 53 countries.

It could potentially reach an audience of more than 3 billion people.

The MAE involves a monthly satellite delivery mechanism of pro-social content to broadcasters across the region.

Benz Ad Goes CG

Following 2007's CG "Anatomy of Pro-Safe" campaign, Absolute collaborated again with digital creative agency, Agency Republic, to create another 100 percent 3D campaign for Mercedes-Benz.

The brief this time was to demonstrate the Mercedes GL420's off-road capabilities. A series of set-piece environments were designed to work along a variable timeline, each one exploring a different aspect of the carâs off-road features.

The multi award-winning Coca-Cola "Videogame" commercial directed by Nexus Productions' Smith & Foulkes is making its UK TV debut Monday.

"Videogame" puts a striking new slant on the violent world of computer games.

The fully computer-animated commercial, which will run for six weeks, was created in HD for Wieden & Kennedy (Portland) and first played during the 2006 Super Bowl.

It has since run in a number of other global markets, although never before in the U.K.

Aardman Animations (WALLACE AND GROMIT) will create a series of claymation shorts on eco-friendly living for Animal Planet, C21 Media reported Wednesday.

"Animals Save The Planet" is a series of 20- to 40-second humorous shorts featuring tips from animals on how to live "green."

The shorts will begin airing on Animal Planet across the U.S., U.K., Europe, Asia, Latin America, Middle East and Africa in March.

SWAY studio added liveliness, detail and whimsy to the 2009 Toyota Corolla campaign entitled "Through the Roof" for Saatchi & Saatchi LA.

Paramount Pictures and Marvel Ent. today announced that a prime advertising spot for Marvel Studios' highly-anticipated IRON MAN feature will air during Super Bowl XLII on Sunday Feb. 3, 2008. Marvel.com will tease the spot on Feb. 1 and, following its TV debut at approximately 4:30 pm PST, the ad will be available on Apple.com, Marvel.com, and the official IRON MAN website at IronManMovie.com. Additional sites, including Yahoo Sports! and ESPN.com, will carry the ad the following day.
