Antics V3 - Now Available for FREE Download

Hi,

We've just released a FREE version of Antics V3 for download on our website at www.antics3d.com.

If you aren't familiar with Antics already, V3 is a user friendly real-time 3D animation application for producing 3D animated movies, machinima, pre-viz, legal reconstruction, military/police simulation and training, film education, etc.

To get a better idea of what Antics is capable of, have a look at some of the example clips on our website in the Antics Cinema!

The FREE Antics V3 BasePack is fully functional and also allows you to download tons of great content for FREE.

Simply go to www.antics3d.com and register on the site to gain access to the FREE download and tons of FREE content!

We've also just launched a competition with a $1000 prize that is being judged by 3 time Oscar Winning VFX Supervisor, Jim Rygiel! I'll post another thread for the competition! Enjoy! :D

Just a quick word to let you know that a new release of Antics, V3.1, is now available. It's still a free download.

The big news in this version is that you can now import models from SketchUp. So with the free version of Sketchup that's available your entire workflow is right there for free!

Another cool feature is that you can browse the Google 3D Warehouse from inside Antics, choose from the thousands of free models on offer, then drop it straight into your scene! I just had an X-wing flying around the White House in a couple of minutes

You can download the BasePack from our site for free - it's fully featured and unrestricted so you can use it for as long as you like.

Enjoy!

Thanks for the info. I'll ask my cousin to grab and use it see how it goes?
My area is 2D only, am curious about what it can do for pre-production. ;)

Hi David,

You may want to have a look at one of our customer's sites...

Dear All,

Dear All,

I am new to this forum. Would anyone be kind enough to upload the FREE version of Antics V3 and its basepack (if possible).

The antics3d.com site seems to be down. I am not sure how to get hold of the software. Thanks in advance.
