It is a film that I think every child and parent will love to experience. The movie is about friendship, connection, redemption, and the hidden power of “being different.”

Aardman Animation is teaming up with Korean animation house Voozclub and Spain's Screen 21 to produce the children's property, CANIMALS, reports VARIETY. Aardman will head up the writing of the 52 seven-minute episodes, as well as the voicing. Voozclub and Screen 21 will handle design, animation and sound production.

It was announced today at a press conference in Helsinki that Stellan Skarsgard (“Good Will Hunting”, “Mamma Mia!”, “Angels & Demons”), Peter Stormare (“Fargo”, “Bad Boys II”, “The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus”) and Alexander Skarsgard (“True Blood” “Zoolander” “Beyond the Pole”) have signed on to voice the iconic MOOMINS characters in the animated family 3D feature MOOMINS AND THE COMET CHASE.
