Los Angeles Center For Digital Art announces its juried competition for digital art and photography. Entrants submit three JPEG files of original work. All styles of 2D artwork and photography where digital processes of any kind were integral to the creation of the images are acceptable.

Humanitas Deadline April 1

Time is running out to submit scripts from TV and film productions for The Humanitas Prize, which affirms human values in entertainment. Animation writers may compete for $10,000 in the children's teleplay category. TV programs must have been broadcast between April 2, 2004 and April 1, 2005 to qualify. Feature films must have screened in at least 60 U.S. markets or at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival.
