3rd Annual Game Developers Choice Awards: Call For Nominations

As there is no higher tribute than to be recognized by one's peers, nominations for the 3rd Annual Game Developers Choice Awards are submitted and voted on exclusively by game developers. The nominations are now open, and will be accepted through January 23, 2003. All those directly involved in the development and design of video games are eligible to nominate.

Every year, thousands of freshman around the world are forced to do unspeakable things in order to get a break in advertising. That's why each year 'BOARDS magazine puts on the First Boards Awards, a showcase for emerging international talent that aims to encourage up and comers and help them get on in the business, without having to suck up to their bosses and generally debase themselves.

Call For Siggraph Award Nominees

The ACM SIGGRAPH Awards program recognizes individuals who have made a significant contribution to the computer graphics community through their research, teaching, service or writing. At SIGGRAPH 2003 the Steven A. Coons Award, the Computer Graphics Achievement Award and the Significant New Researcher Award will be presented. The Steven Anson Coons Award for Outstanding Creative Contributions to Computer Graphics recognizes long-term creative impact on the field of computer graphics through a personal commitment over an extended period of time.
