The Animation Show a collection of the world's greatest animated short films is now accepting submissions for its third season. Personally programmed by co-producers Mike Judge (BEAVIS AND BUTT-HEAD, KING OF THE HILL, OFFICE SPACE) and Academy Award-nominated animator Don Hertzfeldt, the show aims to celebrate and showcase independent animation via the theatrical, DVD and television markets.

The deadline for theatrical submissions is July 1, 2006.

Electronic Arts is hosting 'Reveal 06' the company's second annual computer animation competition. Building on the success of last year's contest, EA is inviting graduating Canadian art and 3D animation students to submit their best animated short video for a chance to win a $20,000 grand prize and a matching grant to the grand prize winner's alma mater. The four-minute shorts will be reviewed by a panel of award-winning EA art directors.

The Awards Entry Deadline for both Promax/BDA Europe and Arabia Awards has been extended by one week from Friday, Jan. 20, 2006, to Friday, Jan. 27.

This is the final deadline and will not be extended further. Entries and Marketing Objectives must be submitted online. Entrees will not be able to edit the marketing objectives after this date. Tapes must be sent direct to the Promax/BDA offices. Payment must be received either directly. Entries, tapes and payment must reach us by 27th January 2006.
