We checked out the newest addition to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles library of video games; Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Smash-Up for the Nintendo Wii. Hit the jump to see if we thought this game was a... "shell" of a good time. (I couldn't resist!)

With, probably, the most highly anticipated shooter coming out just next week, it's a sure fire bet that gamers everywhere are smashing their piggy banks as we speak to spend their hard earned pennies on Call of Duty: Black Ops. I say "most highly anticipated" not just because a slew of gamers can't wait to get their hands on Black Ops but also because fellow game enthusiasts like myself want to see how Black Ops stands against the "big time" shooters which have already been released such as Medal of Honor and Halo Reach. Starting off the weekend right! AWN got to spend some hands-on time with Capcoms newest "wonder child", fighting franchiseiteration, Super Street Fighter IV. We got to spend time with each of the 10 new characters of the Street Fighter IV roster including Hakan and Juri. We also got to spend time with the Barrel and Car bonus stages. While I attempt to suppress my jealousy of the lucky dirt bags that got to go to Germany for Gamecom, I am almost immediately cheered back up with the release of these two new gameplay trailers showing off some in-game footage of the two newly announced characters in Marvel vs Capcom 3; Viewtiful Joe and Dormammu. A game that was originally released to harbor an early access demo for Halo 3 actually became one of the best 360 titles out there. Now the silent, nameless Agents of Pacific City take to the streets again in Crackdown 2. Hit the jump to see the review.

 

One of the biggest surprises at E3 was the announcement of Left 4 Dead 2. It was also one of the very few big name games there that was actually playable on the show floor. I got to spend some time playing the Xbox 360 version and the PC version. I also got to sit down and talk to Chet Faliszek, one of the writers of the game.
