 Normally it’s the CW that conspires to persuade us that our high school years are indeed the most important time of our life. But don’t leave anime out! First loves and heartbreaks are just as common.

 On Feburary 2, 2010 Piano: The Melody of A Young Girl’s Heart DVD Bundle will hit stores. This series follows the story of Miu, the once piano phenom, now introverted teenager struggling to improve her skills. But things seem to change when she develops a crush on the older Takahashi. Rediscovering love, both human and musical, abound in this coming-of-age tale.

 Well, I haven’t seen this series yet. But it does have a good pedigree: direction by Norihiko Sudo, character design by Kosuke Fujishima, and art direction by Junichi Higashi.

 As soon as I get my hands on it, I’ll tell you more.
