I just got the list of Viz’s manga releases for the first half of 2010, and it’s a long list. So, rather than give you my fun, yet abridged synopses of these undoubtedly great titles, especially since I have yet to read any, here’s the initial installment straight from the mouth of PR:

Vandal Hearts

Ikkitousen

In case you haven’t heard, a promotional video (108 seconds) for Ikkitousen Xtreme Xecutor is currently being streamed on the anime’s Japanese website. The actual premiere is set for April 11.

Reborn! 15

As the remaining heir to the Vongola crime family, Tsuna has an unwanted destiny. He will be the next Family boss. Reborn, an infant assassin from Italy, is thus sent to train this unwilling, Mafia neophyte. Using the method of the “Deathperation bullet,” Tsuna will have the chance to transform himself into a stronger and more focused teenager.

El-Hazard

Set to be released on September 7, 2010, this 26-episode series chronicles the adventures of a group of teenagers cast into another dimension after a high school science experiment goes wrong. 

Vampire Knight

VIZ Media announces the debut today of VAMPIRE KNIGHT GUILTY, the second season of hit VAMPIRE KNIGHT animated series (both rated ‘T+’ for Older Teens) available now from VIZAnime.com, the company’s premier website for anime, as well as the streaming content provider HULU (www.Hulu.com).

FUNimation

FUNimation Channel, the only 24/7 HD Anime Network, has added four more series to its line up: Oh! Edo Rocket, Corpse Princess, Sengoku Basara: Samurai Kings, and Spice and Wolf.
