Overlapping Action is another of the cornerstones of animation. By overlapping the actions of a characters' body, hair, tail, clothing, etc. your animation will feel more fluid and life-like.

BELATED RESOLUTIONS FOR 2011 AND A FEW OBSERVATIONS

These resolutions are mighty late, though I think according to the Chinese calendar – their New Year is just approaching.

Moving Into 2011 With Last Year's Art

As we move into 2011, I wanted to display some images, mostly drawings from last year.

 There… it happened again. Recent events have propagated more frequent occurrences. (Hey anytime one has the opportunity to use “propagated” in a sentence… it is fun. Certain words are just fun … another is “perspicacity” – but I digress.)

With St. Patrick's Day here, I remember our time living and working in Ireland

As our 747 descended into Shannon Airport the country was a gray blank…and then, at about 1000 feet we dropped through the mist to see the most amazing values of green ever.

That first sight of Ireland took our breath away.
