Life on the road can be challenging! As the Studio headed into the its last week a familiar cadence ensued. It began with me awakening each morning at 5:30 am. Every production has a life of its own - sometimes you're in charge sometimes the film is in charge.

Every year I try to showcase Holiday Animation. This year, we begin with AN OLD BOX BY PAUL DRIESSEN FROM 1975.

Here I am hip deep in GACKS and MIMIS. The dark side of the force has tried to lure me to its side. “Go ahead…just start animating.” It whispers. “No one will know. Crank out that footage and just get it done.”
