The call for entries for FIKE 2016 is open to Fiction, Animation and Documentary films, premiered after January 1st 2014, with up to 40 minutes of total running time. Deadline for submissions is June 15, 2016.
I have had the privilage of attending FIKE several times and always find the quality of the live action and animation competitions to be excellent. The festival is in lovely, historic Evora, Portugal so if your film is selected and you can attend you will have a wonderful time.
FIKE 2016 - 14th International Short Film Festival, October 25th to 29th, 2016.
The FIKE festival is 5 days of cinema, encounters and workshops and will take place in the World Heritage Town of Évora, and in the cities of Beja and Portalegre, 2 other main locations in Alentejo, south Portugal.
