SHOW YOUR WORK ON TV

MANHATTAN BRIDGE is a very cool half hour variety show that is being syndicated to TV stations for late night showings on Saturdays. It is made up of sketch comedy, animation and musical guests. The sample reel the producers provided suggest they are playing to a stoned out audience with a very short attention span. Nothing on it was too deep or serious or very long. The material was often funny and entertaining.
Their press release says they want edgy, well written and executed material that pushes social and cultural envelopes. They break up longer works and put loud music and other stuff between the sections. They write "what we require: instertichels; shorts for 1 to 3 minute windows; animations which can be serialized into 2 to 3 episodes within a half-hour show and weekly episodes of an on-going series.
Contact Ann-Marie Everitt at Manhattan Bridge (718) 624-4624 or write 156 Tillary St. Brooklyn, NY 11201.
