How To Become an ASIFA member

Annual Memberships are $30 to become a member of both ASIFA-Canada and International

ASIFA-Canada Members Receive:

  • 2-3 issues of the ASIFA-Canada magazine which profiles Canadian animators and studios, new technology trends, and features up to date information on film animation across the country.
  • $30 discount off passes at the Ottawa International Animation Festival free admission to ASIFA sponsored screenings and events.
  • NEW: student ASIFA-Canada members (with id cards) receive an additional $10 off the festival's student pass rate.
  • NEW: student ASIFA-Canada members receive a discount on passes to the Ottawa International Student Animation Festival.
  • Membership Directory: including animation studios, governmental organizations, and a list of all ASIFA-Canada members.

ASIFA-International Members Also Receive:

  • 2-3 issues of the ASIFA-International magazine which features interviews with and profiles of prominent international animators; reviews of animation festivals, reports from various ASIFA chapters worldwide. A great way to stay in touch.
  • ASIFA international will also send you a form asking if you would like to enter your name on an international employment databank list. Most importantly a chance to have an active voice in the Canadian Animation community. Remember we are a volunteer organization and we need you to be an informative and resourceful.
