VES Awards 2004 and the Lucas Legacy

Bill Desowitz reports back from the VES Awards, where the best in visual effects for 2003 and the career of George Lucas were honored.

Then they were off and running. Andrew Gordon, accepting for Finding Nemo, “Speaking Whale,” said,” I want to thank my lovely fiancée. I also want to get laid.”

Presenter Rob Legato quipped,” It’s refreshing to know that at least one of us in the visual effects world is getting laid.”

Rygiel, when accepting the final award of the evening, said he wanted to thank the 23,000 people he worked with on The Lord of the Rings trilogy. “Now who’s getting laid tonight!”

Nature is I think been said to be magic made real, a tree a plant put roots into dirt earth and we get cherrys oranges fruit. What is being done in the arts to the arts is approuching nature. Language alone can not be trusted so bless vfxworld and family.
