I judge movies by which ones I want to add to my collection. Alice in Wonderland obviously won't be making it into my DVD case. But, How to Train Your Dragon will definitely be an early purchase. Plus, I'll buy it again when I finally invest in one of those cool 3-D monitors.

Tyler Good said that. Well that does'nt surprise me he never was a hard worker. He always enjoyed slacking off on just about everything. I don't see how he got through the major. He's not a very decent person either.

It is really a matter of personal preference. I am sure there are many others who would disagree with you. As Tyler Mark Good always says "Dont work hard just through something together and it'll be fine" right?
Wrong. It takes hard work to do this. Believe me it is much easier to critic than to actually do it!

I totally hear you on all those points, and agree with most of them!
The only thing I will say is for everyone to remember that this is only an opinion. Far too often we take others opinions as gospel.
For example, I came out of Alice in Wonderland with a full crowd that seemed to have loved the film! A complete opposite to your experience. So we cannot say things such as "the movie itself does not deserve to make that kind of moola". That begins to cultivate a feeling of distastefulness in others for a movie that is otherwise a classic tale, regardless on how well this version of it was done. A classic such as Alice in Wonderland of course 'deserves' to make moola. A new tale such as Dragon, likewise deserves to make that much moola. 3D or not.
Every person is so different. Their likes their dislikes. The viewer or the film maker. Someone will always be pleased, while others let down. Our job is to remember to keep an open mind and allow others to of course 'hear' our opinion, but also remind them that our word is not the be all and end all. A film might indeed suck... in my opinion, but might be fantastic to you.
We also shouldn't "throw out the baby with the bath water" so to speak, in tossing aside every other 3d movie that isn't "avatar" quality. In so doing we might miss an otherwise wonderful movie that we may have never watched.

I really do agree with you 100%
Working myself in the stéréoscopic movie making (as an autostereoscopic movie director (advertising)) I also was very disappointed by the 3D in Alice
I was not that disappointed by the movie itself but the post processed 3D was really not interesting...
So as many , I will ask myself if it is worth to pay the extra money for the next "post-processed" 3D movie and As you say, this is not good for the industry!
