The Powerpuff Girls is an all-new, half-hour animated series that follows the adventures of three super-powered sisters - Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup - who frewquently ask to be excused from school so they can save the world. Created by Craig McCracken, The Powerpuff Girls is the fourth break-out series from Hanna-Barbera and Cartoon Network's World Premier Toons project. The series is produced by the same animation team, McCraken and Genndy Tartakovsky, behind the four-time Emmy-nominated series Dexter's Laboratory, Cartoon Network's highest rated show. The Powerpuff Girls received a 1999 Emmy nomination and debuted on Cartoon Network in Nov. 1998.
