ABOUT A BUNCH OF SHORT GUYS
A Bunch of Short Guys (ABOSG) is a Dallas-based nonprofit animation guild established to foster a community of artists and storytellers. The group serves as educational resource to the local community of entertainment educators and students. Industry Giants is the organization’s annual professional development seminar that brings industry professionals to Dallas for workshops, presentations and panel discussions. Additional information is available at http://www.industrygiants.org.

ABOSG gets its name from a group of 10 animators who came together over 15 years ago to create an animated short for the Siggraph Electronic Theater competition. The name refers to the group of "short film" makers. The original Short Guys silhouetted in the logo feature (from left to right): Vince Sidwell, Brandon Bruce, T.G. Weems, Will Nicholson, Eric Craft, Chad Briggs, Tom Ottinger, J. Marshall Pittman and J. Schuh. The members have changed over the years, evolving from a "bunch of guys" to a community of like-minded individuals working to improve the Texas animation economy.
